Didn’t Kiss Anyone on New Year’s and Now I’m Cursed
I didn’t kiss anyone when the clock struck midnight on New Years Eve.
That was a long time ago. It’s April, it’s finally spring, how dare I talk about January! Well, it’s April, it’s finally spring, and I have yet to experience my first kiss of 2016.
So far, my year in review is 2016: Never Been Kissed.
National Only Child Day After National Siblings Day
April 10th is really hard for us only children.
Every year, April 10th is National Siblings Day. Every one and their sister posts adorable, loving pictures on social media. We only children stand on the outskirts of the playground watching you all have fun, “I want to play too! Why is no one paying attention to me? HOW I’M I SUPPOSED TO HANDLE THIS!?”
While you are on the phone with all your siblings, we sit in our rooms playing by ourselves: trying to come up with a post that will get us attention but not make us the #AllLivesMatter equivalent of National Siblings Day.

Giant Pillow Fight NYC in the Middle of Washington Square
I stood on a bench in Washington Square Park watching pillows fly through the air on Saturday afternoon. The scene stretched out below me was equal parts awesome, hilarious, and icky. It made me think of the Bertie Bott’s jelly beans in Harry Potter. Imagine eating a feather-flavored jelly bean and having an owl smash into your face. That’s pretty much the experience of a giant, outdoor pillow fight!
