Weekly New York Minutes #21

Every Friday I feature some fleeting moments from my week that made me stop and think, “I’m so lucky to live in NYC!” And maybe some that made me think, “Bahaha this city is ridiculous and I love it.” Here we go for the first week of June…

I don’t know what it is about June but I saw MULTIPLE Christmas trees out on curbs this week! Where New Yorkers so worried winter might return again that they kept these extreme fire hazards through Memorial Day, the unofficial kick off of summer!? I am baffled and disgusted.

Spotted on beautiful residential streets in the East Village (top) and Chelsea. Seriously, can anyone explain this?

As we approach the longest day of the year, the “golden hour” has been especially beautiful. Walking by Chelsea Piers, I stopped to smell the roses and got a gorgeous view of One World Trade.

This “VERY ACTIVE” driveway in Brooklyn made laugh out loud. Guess this is what happens when that guy who loved bragging about how much sex he was having in college settles down in Park Slope…

A giant panda stuffed animal shoved up a tree in Brooklyn! This blurs the line between art and littering but I kinda love it.

I was in Cape Cod for the weekend, celebrating one of my best friends bachelorette party. Thus my minutes in NYC were less than usual! It was an awesome weekend though! What about you? How was your week?
