Saturday Street Art: Supportive Soho Shops

There are a couple shops in the Soho shopping district that feature street art on their outside walls.

John Fluevog Shoes at 250 Mulberry

Rag and Bone at 73 E Houston

The one outside John Fluvog has been the same for as long as I can remember, but the one outside Rag and Bone changes frequently- it’s different almost every time I see it.

Which came first, the store or the street art? I’m not sure. But both shops have clearly embraced the art outside them. Which is win for everyone! Artist’s have a space to create and the stores get the cool, urban vibe that street art brings. I’m totally into shops supporting art like this- it even makes me want to shop at them more! Can’t get more organic. non-advertising than that!

  1. Your site looks great but I did notice that the word “calender” appears to be spelled incorrectly. I saw a couple small issues like this. I thought you would like to know!

In case you wanted to fix it, in the past we’ve used services from a websites like HelloSpell.com to keep our site error-free.
