Weekly New York Minutes #5

Every Friday I feature some fleeting moments from my week that made me stop and think, “I’m so lucky to live in NYC!” Here we go for this Valentine’s week…

There were hearts all over the streets of NYC this week. Just the colorful pick-me-up we needed during this month that’s dreary and draggier than a morning commute that relies on the MTA…

Hearts chalked for several blocks in Soho. Think they were drawn with chalk or the dust of Conversation Hearts? Tomayto, tomahto?

Yarn bomb on Wooster and Spring that’s so freaking cute it might even make someone who got dumped on Valentine’s Day smile.

Walked through this Valentine’s Day photoshoot where the model was wearing hella hearts on his sleeve and backdropped by bodega flowers.

The morning after Valentine’s Day, I walked by 3 red roses someone stuck in a bush (definitely not a rose bush) on Broadway… Dying to know what the story is here! Wondering if it has anything to do with the Queen of Hearts?

It warmed up this week! We got a break from down jackets and long underwear! Temperature tops 50 and suddenly I’m spotting booty shorts in Soho. Doesn’t get more opposite of “long underwear” than that!

I know most of these moments seem Valentine themed, but none of these moments were from actual Valentine’s Day itself!

What were memorable minutes of your week?
