New York Cliché of the Day: Upper East Side Undead

There’s a lot of old money on New York’s Upper East Side.
Today, the Friday before Halloween, when I say “old” I mean “undead”.

Manhattan’s notoriously wealthy residential neighborhood has a good handful of houses that go all out for Halloween. I’m dying to know what kind of candy townhouses a block from Central Park have for trick-or-treaters! Godiva? Jacques Torres? Willy Wonka bars with honest to goodness solid gold tickets? Do millionaires get their doormen to pass out candy?

Skeletons are the new socialites.

This festive house is on 67th Street, a block east from Central Park. If you’re in the neighborhood, it’s definitely worth checking out. East 80th Street is supposed to be festively frightful as well. If you go on Halloween, please report back on the trick-or-treating situation!

Devil is in the details: don’t miss the trees creepy, creepy trees on the sidewalk!

Hope you have a happy, happy HalloWEEKEND!
