Soho and street style go hand and hand. There’s no more quintessential street fashion photography than on the cobble stones streets of this NYC neighborhood now best know for its shopping and designer boutiques.

Fashion shoots and street photography are a constant in Soho, NYC

Most of the north-south streets in this area are still cobblestones. They’re a bitch to bike on, but they look great in photos!

Go to Soho any day of the week and you’ll see about a dozen Instagrammers darting out into the middle of Mercer or Greene to snap the Iconic New York Cliche Soho Street Style Photograph. It’s likely you’ll see a professional shoot too, like the one above, with a whole team of photographers, make up artists, producers, and models. I’ve worked in Soho during New York Fashion Week and the whole neighborhood might as well be a photo shoot set that week- so many shoots! Basically on every corner!

Avoid driving through Soho if you can, that goes for Ubers and taxis too! The chance of hitting a gorgeous woman in a dress is higher in this neighborhood than any other part of the United States!*

I’m feeling like I’m letting down my New York Cliché because I do not have one of these typical street fashion photos in Soho! #SignsImNotAFashionBlogger I’ll have to fix that the next time I’m in the neighborhood!
