The Most New York Cliché Photoshoot Ever with Peter DeGiglio Photography

For my 10 year blog anniversary, I wanted to celebrate with something fun, useful to the blog, and extra New York Cliché. What better way than an ultimate NYC photoshoot!

My friend Peter is a photographer with some serious skills. He was more than happy to run around NYC one Saturday morning capturing me in my cliché finest. We looked like massive tourists- me in my souvenir shirt, him with his massive camera. We got some funny looks, a lot of smiles, and most importantly, some great photos!

I changed outfits while standing on the subway platform. I’m not kidding! It’s amazing the manuvers one can pull under a full skirt! This is something many actors have done. We learned the skill with back stage quick-changes. We might as well use it. Peter couldn’t believe my skill. He didn’t capture any photos of that part of the day, thanks.

Which is more New York Cliché – the subway or Central ParK?

Peter DegGiglio was so much fun to work with! He’s one of the most charismatic guys I know. We met while working at the Jekyll and Hyde Club where he was a Mad Scientist and I was a maid. He took me birdwatching in Central Park.  For years he’s been taking amazing headshots for actors and photos of birds he sees. Now he’s expanding his business to include lifestyle shots too.
