Take a dog for a walk in Astoria, Queens and it just might turn into a street art tour!
My bestie Miranda lives off the Astoria Boulevard stop and has an adorable rescue mutt named Durango.
Miranda is currently working on her pHD in ornithology, working an office job full time, and planning her wedding. She is basically Wonder Woman. Coincidence that she also totally looks like Gal Gadot?
My wonder woman bestie’s time is precious. So multitasking with a dog walk, friend catch-up, and art gallery all in one was the PERFECT sunny Saturday activity. We made the most of it! We saw so much art just a 10 minute walk west from the Astoria Boulevard stop.

This was my first time visiting the Welling Court Mural Project! The lesser known cousin of the Bushwick Collective in Brooklyn and absolutely as worth visiting. And, unlike in Bushwick, you would have to fight with other street art enthusiasts for wall space! For directions, visit the Welling Court Mural Project website HERE.
