New York Cliche of the Day: Nothing is More Stunning than the NYC Skyline (and Headaches Suck)

The New York City skyline is spectacular. I was lucky enough to take it in on what could be one of the last warm days of 2017!

I discovered this wooden path that bridges Brooklyn Heights with Brooklyn Bridge Park. I love discovering new paths in places I’ve been dozens of times before!

Shot of the last time in 2017 that I was comfortable outdoors in just a t-shirt? Probably! WINTER IS COMING but you’d never guess it this week! Every where you go it’s the constant refrain of “Let it snow!” Mother Nature says, “Nah, I don’t think so!”

Still, Happy December 1st! I’m ready for Holiday Cheer!

I’ve lived in NYC for almost 10 years and the skyline never gets old. Especially because it’s constantly changing.

Can you tell this isn’t the blog I planned for today?

Last night I got a piercing headache while on the subway home. It’s not something I’d wish on my gravest enemy. The florescent lights, the screeching of breaks, the constant “ding dong” of the doors closing and words of the automated PA system, I felt like my brain was going to explode. I got home, inhaled, Advil, and collapsed into bed. There was no way my head could handle a computer screen and forming sentences.

A perfect blogger would write posts in advance, just for headache kind of days. I’ll never be a perfect blogger. But I’m trying! I’m feeling better today and hope you enjoy these sunshine shots of our lovely NYC.

Let’s soak up that Vitamin D while we can!

Have a great weekend and Happy December! I promise my New York Holiday posts coming your way next week!

  1. I found this path this Summer too! I think that it was finished after the building behind it was done. That park is constantly expanding. And I love it!
