Street Art Saturday: The Corner of Delancey and Ludlow LES

I’d call the Lower East Side one of Manhattan’s hottest neighborhoods. It’s got a 5 o’clock shadow, motorcycle jacket, moody musician vibes. Complete with sexy tattoos.

Lower east Side Street Art

The Hotel Chantelle features a night club that has large lines to get in on weekend nights. At least the doors of the venue feature sweet Bradley Theodore street art, to keep you entertained while you wait!

If the line stretches extra long, you get the pleasure of a CLAW MONEY wall.

I thought my days of waiting in lines to get into clubs were long gone…but I couldn’t help but wonder, if I can oggle Lower East Side street art while I wait, maybe the velvet rope bull shit wouldn’t bother me so much!

Maybe, but I think I like my street art better in the daylight (and sans sloppy party people). I’ve heard Hotel Chantelle has a decent rooftop brunch! Maybe I should go in celebration of my New York ten year anniversary next week! The wall across the street from Hotel Chantelle perfectly captures such an occasion:

You bet I ♥ NY!

It’s awesome how much art is just in a couple square feet on the south corner of this intersection. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, or on the F/J/M/Z train at the Delancey Street/Essex Street stop, it’s worth walking a block over to check out!
