Saturday Street Art: Lafayette and Broome

These three walls at the intersection of Lafayette and Broome in Soho are rotating canvases. There’s always amazing work on each of them, creating a corner street art trifecta you can count on.

Here’s what’s up currently…no knowing how long it’ll last in the high turnover rate of street art.

The couple looks familiar, they’ve been here for awhile.

But the boombox man is brand new.

Isn’t he awesome?

And then just steps down the block is this fierce master piece.

Roar.

Happy Saturday!

  1. There’s a Japanese cat (by artist Takashi Life) building mural somewhere in Soho that an overseas friend needs to find. It’s full length and by a busy street from a photo I’ve seen. Hope you can provide the street address. Many thanks!
